Keith Kendrick, aka Kombat, is a young artist who was born in Rochester, New York. He spent most of his childhood idolizing Michael Jordan and at one point having dreams of playing professional basketball. The lyrical and poetic talent that he contains, was not realized until the age of 14 when his mother suggested he join a summer youth program called artpeace which enhanced his literary and musical development. 

When Keith decided not to play sports his senior year, he became more involved in songwriting and eventually started recording songs. When he realized that making music requires hard work, he eventually began to use school time to create songs. Artist Kartell Kain, who is a good friend of kombat, encouraged him to use his lyrical talent to the fullest extent.

Soon after Keith quit football during his senior season, music became his ultimate focus as he began to spend time in numerous recording studios including the suburban studio owned by Kartell Kain whom which Keith works with on music on his time off from school. Keith recently joined the U.S Army Reserve to find out who his true self is and to establish himself as a respected person throughout his home town of Rochester, New York. Although  he is leaving the rap game for a short period, his return will be long awaited to the lyrical world.
